CHSU-COM Inaugual Class of 2024 Grad Stories

The California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM) will celebrate the inaugural Class of 2024 commencement on May 19, 2024. As a part of the celebration, we put together our CHSU Grad Story Series, where you will hear from CHSU students and their experiences.
Samantha Lynch, DO, CHSU-COM Inaugural Class of 2024
Dr. Samantha Lynch demonstrated her passion for medicine and leadership while at the CHSU-COM. She served as 2020-2021 Student Government Association Vice President and 2021-2022 Student Government Association President. She received the CHSU National Impact Award as part of the CHSU-COM graduate awards and was recognized for receiving the 2021 Most Influential Conference Speaker Award by the AACOM Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents. Dr. Lynch also served on the AACOM Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents as National Programs Representative, National TOUCH Program Coordinator, and is the Founder of the National DO Day of Service. She is also a member of the Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity.
Dr. Samantha Lynch will be completing her Internal Medicine residency at the Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
Megan Fedeli, DO, CHSU-COM Inaugural Class of 2024
Dr. Megan Fedeli’s incredible story of strength and resilience in life and medical school is truly inspiring! She was active in student organizations and founded the Wellness and Wilderness Medicine Club and the Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity, which she served as president. She credits a lot of her success to her husband. Nominated by Dr. Fedeli, Mathew Larabee, MBA, received the CHSU Spouse of the Year Award and the Donna Jones Moritsugu Memorial Award.
Dr. Megan Fedeli will be completing her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Yusur Alsalihi, DO, Inaugural Class of 2024
Dr. Yusur Alsalihi is passionate about medicine and research. She received the Headmirror National Otolaryngology Interest Group Award and the CHSU Outstanding Research graduate award. She is also a member of the Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity.
Dr. Yusur Alsalihi will be completing her Internal Medicine residency at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.
