CHSU-COM Residency Programs Fair was a Success!

The 4th Annual California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM) Residency Programs Fair was held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the CHSU campus. All CHSU medical students were encouraged to attend to network with local residency programs and get tips on how to prepare for their residency application.

Over 28 Residency Programs from California were in attendance, with most being from the Central Valley. Some of the participants and specialties at the Residency Programs Fair included:

  • Dignity Health/St. Joseph’s Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program

  • Mercy Merced Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Morehouse School of Medicine/Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Riverside University Health System/UC Riverside General Surgery Residency Program
  • Saint Agnes Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Saint Agnes Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Sutter Health/Memorial Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Sutter Health/Memorial Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • UCSF Fresno Family and Community Medicine Residency Program
  • Valley Children’s Pediatrics Residency Program
  • Valley Health Team Family Medicine Residency Program

Abraham Tanousian, DO, and Zade Kurdieh, DO, graduates from the CHSU-COM Inaugural Class of 2024, were in attendance “on the other side of the table” as first-year residents at Sierra Vista Medical Center.
