CHSU Medical School Receives Seven-Year Accreditation

The California Health Sciences University (CHSU) announced that its College of Osteopathic Medicine has been granted a seven-year Accreditation by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).
CHSU received the good news about the seven-year accreditation decision following the COCA Executive Committee decision at its April meeting. COCA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accreditor of colleges of osteopathic medicine.

The CHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine has been working towards full accreditation since inception in 2020 when it unveiled the newly constructed, state-art-of-the-art facility and welcomed the inaugural cohort of medical students.

The university will hold its Graduation ceremony for the inaugural class of 2024 medical students at the Save Mart Center on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
