CHSU Hosts Sixth Annual Residency Fair for Medical Students

September 16, 2026

California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM) hosted its 6th annual Residency Fair on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at its Clovis campus. The event connected CHSU osteopathic medical students with representatives from residency programs, health care organizations, and military medical programs, helping them explore career pathways and prepare for the next stage of their medical education.

Students were able to receive information about residency opportunities, application requirements, audition rotations, and interview preparation. They also had the opportunity to speak directly with program representatives, ask questions, and learn what different residency programs seek in prospective applicants.

A highlight of the event was the return of 20 CHSU Alumni, who represented their respective residency programs. Drawing on their experiences as former CHSU medical students, the alumni offered current students valuable guidance on evaluating programs, navigating the application process, and identifying a residency that aligns with their interests and professional goals. Their return also gave the CHSU community a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with graduates and celebrate their continued success. Together, the returning alumni and other participating representatives introduced students to a wide range of training opportunities and career pathways.
