Arimi Nguyen

Arimi Nguyen earned her B.S. in Psychology and Human Health from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to medical school, she worked as a licensed Behavioral Therapist, supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other psychosocial and emotional conditions. As an OPP Scholar and future physician, Arimi is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that considers the whole person. She plans to pursue a career in psychiatry, where she hopes to expand access to mental health care for vulnerable populations and support patients in achieving holistic well-being. In her free time, she enjoys finding creative ways to challenge herself and make things with her own hands.
