Renowned Physician, Dr. Bonna Rogers-Neufeld, Spoke at CHSU About Breast Cancer Screening and Mammograms

In October, the Oncology Student Interest Group and Radiology Interest Group at CHSU-COM collaborated and hosted a speaker event with Bonna Rogers-Neufeld, MD, Diagnostic Radiology Specialist at WISH Fresno Breast Center.  

Dr. Rogers-Neufeld provided students an informative talk about Breast Cancer Screening and Mammograms to conclude Breast Cancer Awareness month. 

Dr. Rogers-Neufeld was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fresno Madera Medical Society (FMMS) in 2022. According to an article in the FMMS Central Valley Physicians magazine, Dr. Rogers-Neufeld, is a true trailblazer and innovator in medicine. She entered medicine at a time when it was, “pretty rare for women to do so,” seeking out education and training.
