CHSU-COM Offers Early Decision Program for Medical School Applicants

The California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM) offers applicants the opportunity to apply through the Early Decision Program for its four-year Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program. The CHSU-COM Early Decision Program (EDP) is designed to help competitive medical school applicants fast track their goals to attend medical school!

Candidates can apply for the CHSU-COM Early Decision Program starting on May 4, 2026 when the application cycle for the fall 2027-2028 academic year opens. Applicants might consider applying for this new program to get an early start on the application and interview process to get an admissions decision by October 1st.

Students accepted to the CHSU-COM through the Early Decision Program will have the first opportunity to apply for a CHSU Scholarship up to $20,000.

CHSU-COM Early Decision Program (EDP) Requirements 

  • Overall GPA and Science GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • MCAT Score of 504 or higher, with no subsections below the 25th percentile.
  • Submit Your Letter of Intent for the Early Decision Program via CHSU’s school specific page on the AACOMAS application.
  • Must complete and submit AACOMAS application and all EDP materials by July 1st.
  • Must complete the CHSU-COM secondary application by August 1st.
  • Complete the EDP interviews from August through September to receive a decision by October 1st.
